She said this picture reminded of her what it looks like after a storm. And a storm it was. The day I painted "Golden Evening" Oregon had record rain fall in 24 hours. I took a late night walk after the storm. The colors of the leaves changing, the street lights, and the wind blowing inspired this piece. When I returned from my walk I mixed the colors for the next day's painting. Thank you Jessica for coming up with such an appropriate name.
